Write a 2-3 page (meaning, at least 2 full pages, essay, answering the following questions:
Which character can you most identify with in this play?
In which scene?
What are the circumstances? (The Who, What, Where, When, Why, and How)
What is it about the character in this particular scene that you can relate to?
Quote specific lines your character says from the beginning and end of the play, and explain what the lines mean to you.
Do not retell the plot or story of the play.
IMPORTANT: If you can not identify with any of the characters, choose the character that is the furthest from your own personality and values and explain how and why you can’t relate to that character. Follow the same questions as above, but note how you cannot relate, instead of how you can.
