What does it mean to state that the Alternative for Germany (AfD) is a populist party? In what ways does the AfD offer German voters a different set of perspectives on politics and distinctive policy positions, compared to the other German parties? In your opinion, does the presence of the AfD in the party system enhance German politics, or does it AfD create more problems than it solves? Why or why not?
