Based on what you learned about deviance this week, name one thing you see in your daily life that is considered deviant now but likely won’t be in 50 years. How and why do you think it will change?

RE: Week 10 Discussion
I really could not think of anything that I would consider deviant now that would be in 50 years except for maybe shoplifting. I only say that because we do most of our shopping online now, there is a possibility that in 50 years it will not be any stores for us to go into. I want to go a little further and see what was considered deviant 50 years ago. One thing that was deviant 50 years ago but is not now is homosexuality. 50 years ago, it was against the law to love whomever you chose. Honestly, I do not see that as being a law to be broken, but you know whatever, and as of now, I could never see that as being against the law. I cannot think of anything else.
