A 16 year old woman who is debating whether to become sexually active in her current, six month relationship. She describes herself as “caring, in love, moody, easily frustrated, and forgetful.” Her family history includes colon cancer on her father’s side of the family and hypertension on her mother’s side. She reports feeling awkward about using tampons. She shares, also, that her potential partner is an 18 year-old male who wants their sexual experiences to be spontaneous. He has told her that he is willing to help make sure she doesn’t become pregnant.
