POLICY DEVELOPMENT PROJECT: • The POLICY DEVELOPMENT PROJECT is an extension of your selected topic and your power point presentation. • The student can select to develop a new policy approach or amend a current policy • The paper will focus on the analysis of existing environmental health policies based on the topic selected. • The students will CREATE AND PRESENT THEIR POLICY RECOMMENDATION as a Power Point presentation. • The ORAL PRESENTATION should be 5-8 minutes and must introduce a new or updated policy recommendation • Students are expected to coordinate with other students that select the same topic so that different material is covered. • Students will review a minimum of six (6) articles for the completion of the research paper. • Guidance for writing a policy paper will be posted in CANVAS • Student may select to do a two (2) person team project with prior approval from the Professor. • STUDENTS WILL PRESENT THEIR POWER POINT IN CLASS DURING FINALS WEEK – THIS IS THE FINAL EXAM.
