For the “Ineffective Helping Skills Video” please make sure to address the following: · Provide a description of the interaction you viewed. · Identify and discuss what therapist behaviors (verbal and nonverbal) you observed that appeared to be unhelpful in the interaction. · What do you imagine it would have been like to be the helpee in this interaction? Describe what it may have felt like to receive help from the helper in this interaction. Finally, please reflect on: · Reflect on how viewing these videos may affect your approach to helping and future plans for engaging in helping relationships; What have you taken away from the experience?
