Explain how the population distribution of the countries of South Asia can be described by the geophysical characteristics of the sub-continent. Try to discuss as many places as you can and include how the combination of precipitation, climate and geophysical characteristics all influence high and low population densities. You should describe at least four different locations in our South Asia region, and cite your references. Remember that this region is larger than just the country of India, but be certain to only describe locations in this region (Pakistan, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, India, and Maldives).
