One may believe that strategic implementation is a simple process, however, as discussed in last week’s chapter, this is not the case. This week, you continue to delve into the necessary actions required by those in management. TQM and Six Sigma are recognizable tools used by organizations to assist management in operational execution. Ensuring that the proper technological systems are in place also plays a critical roll in success.
Assignment Instructions
This week you will have some academic freedom with the topic you discuss. The text describes five additional managerial actions that aid in successful execution.
In relation to your chosen organization, chose one of the following: (1) allocating to the drive for good strategy execution, (2) ensuring that policies and procedures that facilitate strategy execution, (3) using process management tools to drive continuous improvement in how value chain activities are performed, or (4) installing information and operating systems that enable company personnel to carry out their strategic roles proficiently.
DO NOT discuss the fifth action as you may be discussing this within the Discussion Forum this week. How you chose to elaborate on the action in relation to the organization is also up to you. Assignment Directions
