A critical review of the current literature on the chosen topic e.g. Rx scaphoid fracture; NO drugs or analgesia A critical discussion of the topic identified in the literature review and influences that impact on practice in managing this presentation. Analysis of the efficacy of your clinical decisions e.g. future splint vs scaphoid plaster; radiological evidence, clinical ASB tenderness. Analysis of the implications of the review for clinical practice and clear evidence of how the student’s future practice may be affected or how envisaged changes may be implemented current practice, many schools of thought, recommendations A clear conclusion based on the presented evidence, highlighting your key points and no new information (summary).
